Ending the powerful summer exhibition, YZHQ now captures the flexible aesthetics produced by the three female artists.

'Êïï×â¥ìý' (oneness of self and an object) means infusing one's emotions or soul into his/her art, empathizing directly with it, and feeling that the art and oneself communicate. '÷×' (to communicate or to inform) refers to the logic of words or sentences being not strange and the flow of meaning continuing properly. With this in mind, the artists aim to capture their emotions, expressing what they want to 'transfer,' which becomes a medium for giving. People today reveal their feelings and thoughts through various social media platforms, which we all can observe with the least effort. We are exposed to numerous information and emotional outbursts that transmit and affect each life in various ways.

Functional and decorative, the work can be used daily and fully captures the artist's inner and aesthetic expression. That being said, three female artists create works with different materials, conveying the meaning of '÷×' and their distinctive aesthetic sense to the audience.

Hyun-hee Kim, a furniture artist with translucent acrylic, presents the 'Bo Series' in this exhibition. Bojagi, a gift fabric wrapper, has been the epitome of 'sustainable craft' since ancient times to utilize discarded pieces of fabric. She creates its modern version by collecting, disassembling, and combining polyethylene (discarded plastic bags) generated in daily life. Utilizing such a material, which is inevitably used a lot today, creates an awareness that it remains on Earth longer than human lives without being decomposed. Her environmentally friendly art and the meaning of 'Bo (ÜÎ): Inclusive Square'elicit empathy from the audience.

Artist Amira's work expresses her longing for freedom living in a foreign land. Her mirror is not just a glass but rather mysterious that absorbs the opposite side and permeates the space. Sometimes, it reflects negativity but also emits a brilliant light. Amira believes that 'mirrors do not just reflect but silently capture our emotions and existence, allowing us to get a new perspective.' She intends to receive emotional input, as her mirror is a reflection of herself, a stranger living in a foreign country. Her mirror contains her personal stories, a transition of her thoughts '÷×' that crosses all boundaries.

In studio ChaCha's glass work, its precarious curves represent anxiety, and wander, eventually meeting a stable structure. Achieving a new balance, the free-spirited curves seem to look irregular and confusing, which creates a tension that looks fragile. Yet, when the curves lean against a stable structure, its precariousness is reborn as dynamic and vital. Instability in modern society comes from minor problems, but it may snowball like a butterfly effect or fade away, depending on how one accepts it. The studio seeks the possibility of finding stability through interaction in unstable relationships.

These three female artists achieve '÷×' with their flexible, delicate aesthetic sense using different materials, methods, and expressions. They show their views on environmentally friendly issues, make furniture as a way to express freedom as an outsider and find elements of stability and balance with sensitive glasses. From trivial to somewhat deep matters, we praise their hard work and cleverness in creating true communication through 'Êïï×â¥ìýt' rather than simply pursuing beauty. Leading the audience to admiration for '÷×,' the gallery looks forward to their next artworks.
